The display provides all the information relating to the calls that the Operator must handle:
• Incoming or out-going calls.
• Internal, external or return to P.O. call.
• Caller number (CLID) and number called (DNIS).
Support the operator in normal call handling procedures, such as:
• Exclude the caller or the called party during a conversation to allow the operator to speak with either one while the other is automatically put on hold.
• Release (disconnect) the caller or the called party from the conversation.
• Three-way conference.
Module that notifies the operator of the status of the telephone extensions. TConsole graphically highlights colleagues and their respective telephone numbers, busy in conversation or free. A quick search by name and/or extension is also available to check the telephone status.
The telephone numbers of the last twenty calls received and made, with their names, can be consulted and redialled with a click. In addition, the last number called can be repeated.
These are commands that can be defined during the configuration phase of TConsole. These functions are added to the basic ones, allowing the association of actions to a key, such as:
• Auto-Dial of associated
• Call parking.
Up to 12 line engagement buttons are available to make or answer a call. The line status is shown next to each button. The status can be represented in voice synthesis or Braille alphabet.
TConsole uses an integrated telephone directory through which it is possible to manage, locally or centrally, both internal and external telephone numbers, carrying out quick searches and automatic compositions. TConsole allows integration with third-party phonebooks and can be equipped with a synchronization module that communicates with directory servers using the LDAP protocol.
The Phonebook window consists of the following parts:
• Selection fields for name searches.
• Research results.
• Phonebook details.
• Commands for automatic dialling of telephone numbers.
• Phonebook maintenance functions.
The swing function allows the operator to exclude one of the two interlocutors during the management of a call.
With TConsole it is possible for several operators to share the same workstation. Each operator is authenticated by their own user profile: sighted, visually impaired, blind with their own voice synthesis options, Braille display and colour and font configuration. User sessions are available through a TConsole add-on.
This function allows you to input telephone numbers under dictation before using them to make the call.
This function allows the operator to save messages related to related to a call memorizing the caller and the person sought. When the messages are subsequently communicated to the person concerned, they are marked as referrals.
Optional module for the visually impaired with enlarged characters. For easy reading, TConsole’s main screen is split into two distinct windows (Telephone display and Phonebook).
A view (included in the optional visually impaired module), intended for a more severely visually impaired operator with further enlarged characters.
Optional module for voice synthesis of all information managed by the TConsole operator station. Useful for the visually impaired or blind operators who do not know the Braille alphabet. The module includes the provision of the Telenia Mixer, able to mix the voice with the telephone section.
The TConsole operator station can be integrated with the LILLI   Braille device for blind operators to read the  information  relative to the status of the telephone console. Integration certified by the UNIONE ITALIANA CIECHI.
