PICK UP

Selective response

Displays the number of calls queued by the Operator, the name of the caller (if present in the phone book) and the waiting time in the queue, with a simple click of the mouse, you can make a selective response on the call queued (Pick Up).

FUNCTIONS

DISPLAY

The display provides all the information relating to the calls that the operator must handle:

• Incoming or out-going calls.

• Internal, external or attendant console return call.

• Caller number (CLID) and number called (DNIS).

BASIC COMMANDS

Support the operator in normal call handling procedures, such as:

• Exclude the caller or callee during a conversation to allow the operator to speak to one party while the other is automatically put on hold.

• Release (disconnect) the caller or callee from the conversation.

• Three-person conference.

LAMP FIELDS

Module which notifies the operator of the status of the telephone extensions. TConsole graphically highlights colleagues and their telephone numbers, engaged in conversation or free. Quick search by name and/or by extension is also available to check the telephone status.

LAST NUMBER REDIAL AND CALL LISTS

The phone numbers of the last twenty calls received and made can be viewed with their names and redialled with a click. In addition, the last number called can be repeated.

USER DEFINED COMMANDS

These commands can be made during the TConsole configuration stage. These are features which are added to the basic ones, allowing you to assign actions to a key, such as:

• Auto-Dial of assigned numbers.

• Call Parking.

BUSY LINE KEYS

Up to 12-line busy buttons are available to make or answer a call. The status of a line is reported at the end of each button. Status can be represented in speech synthesis or in Braille alphabet.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL DIRECTORY

TConsole uses an integrated phone directory through which it is possible to manage, locally or centrally, Telephone numbers both internal and external, performing rapid searches and automatic compositions. TConsole allows integration with third-party phone books and can be equipped with a synchronization module that communicates with the directory server via the LDAP protocol.

The Directory window is made up of the following parts:

• Selection fields for searching names.

• Search results.

• Phone book details.

• Commands for the automatic dialling of telephone numbers.

• Functions for phone book maintenance.

CALL TOGGLE – SWING FUNCTION

The Swing function allows the operator to automatically exclude one of two interlocutors during the handling of a call.

USER PROFILES

With TConsole the use of the workstation can be shared by several operators. Each operator authenticates himself with his own user profile: sighted, visually impaired, blind, with related speech synthesis options, Braille display and colour and font configuration. The user sessions can be consulted through a special TConsole add-on.

POST-IT

This function allows you to dial numbers under dictation before using them to make a call.

QUEUED CALL INDICATOR

This function allows the operator to save messages related to a call, memorising the call and the person searched. When messages are subsequently communicated to the person concerned, they are marked as referred.
